As a pastor in New Orleans, I am overwhelmed by the amount of people who have lost all hope in their life. Life can be hard and many people are praying for redemption and grace. In their book, Recovery of a Lifetime, Chris and Mike Reis share an inspiring father/son story of redemption and grace that is centered upon Jesus. Their story is being used in a powerful way all around the country. I am so thankful how God used them to speak the hope of Jesus into our church family. I highly recommend reading their story, sharing their story, and booking them to come and share their story!

Hi Mike & Chris,
Again let me say how much we appreciate y'all sharing your story with us. I have heard numerous comments from the men about how inspiring it was.
I am going to forward your bio's to our marketing department, we are very interested in scheduling a date and time with you to speak at our west Georgia campus. Graham and Tim will spearhead that and be in touch with you.
Thanks again and God Bless you both,
No Longer Bound

Just wanted to send you a note and thank you for today’s uplifting Friday. Chris Reis and Jake Smith were terrific and I think everyone in the room connected with a lot of what they had to say. I was especially moved by Chris’s story of his relationship with his father and how it changed when his dad gave up alcohol. With so many families struggling with addiction issues, this story resonated with me. I hope when they come out with their book, we can bring Chris back with his father to tell their story.

Tonight was indeed inspirational --- on so many levels! I'm so glad that the evening helped to confirm what seems so obvious to all of us --- that God has uniquely gifted the two of you with a very special message to share with the world! Your talk tonight was inspirational and insightful, powerful and compelling. Loved the honest and humble way you both told your stories with just the right amount of humor at just the right moments. I was looking around the room as each of you spoke and I can honestly say, you had us all spellbound! No one wanted it to end. In fact, that's the first time I can remember that we chose to forgo breakout groups in order to continue listening to the speakers!
Please keep us posted on the publication of your book, I'm sure most everyone there tonight will want a copy! Many thanks for an outstanding presentation! We are thrilled to have had you both with us and look forward to seeing the great things God has in store for you, Chris, the book, and the ministry!
